Nzgridironbets is an information site about sports and racing betting. It takes no bets, keeps no customer accounts, handles no money and does not pass readers on to bookmakers as an agent. Forecasts that promise winnings are not published.

The New Zealand frame

Under section 74AAA of the Racing Industry Act 2020, TAB NZ has been the only provider lawfully offering racing and sports betting to people in New Zealand since 28 June 2025, through its brands TAB and Betcha. Compliance is supervised by the Department of Internal Affairs. Other bookmakers hold no New Zealand licence, as there is none to apply for. The minimum age for betting with TAB NZ is 18.

Content and its limits
